Accessibility & Access

We would love to welcome you to NPURC. The church building was opened in 1881, but we hope we have made it as accessible as possible. If there is something that would help you access the building or worship better, please let us know.

-Front entrance

There are two front entrance doors to the church, and one has a ramp for wheelchair access.

-Inside the church

Inside the doors is a lobby with toilets, a serving hatch and wide level access to the main church.

The church does not have any pews, and seating is laid out in different ways, a greeter will be happy help in any way.

There are two screens on which hymn words are projected at the front of the church.

The church is fitted with an induction-loop system for the benefit of hearing-aid users and is used at all Services.

If you would like a transcript of the service, please let us know.

At some points in the service the minister may invite the congregation to stand; you are welcome to remain seated if this is more comfortable for you.

Communion (first Sundays) is served to all in their seats, so there is no need to come forward

-Toilet

There is level access to all toilets, and there is one wheelchair accessible toilet.
